Project by Marg8 AudioVisualArt The construction has a hexagonal courtyard in the center of which each wall has a portal 3 of which lead to 3 rooms completely lined with sheets of polished aluminum, except for the front wall opposite the entrance on whose surface a different scene is projected respectively; 1) the left positioned room "ante" represents the door of the past and shows the image of the subject as he entered the door externally (taken by a cam synchronized via a sensor which delays the projection). 2) the room in the center "nunc" is the present and shows the scene shot in front of the door inside the room in a non-specular way. 3) the third on the right is the future "post" and takes up the scene outside the portal, towards the courtyard and the subject will only be visible when he comes out. The choice of entrance determines the subject's psychological temporal position (past/present/future) according to the method used in Hindu temples to diagnose this attitude. The instructions and the description of the functionality will be omitted during use for reasons of non-interference with the individual understanding of the work, upon exiting the viewer will be presented with a single question: "What was the name of the room you visited for Before?" IT La costruzione ha un cortile esagonale al centro di cui ogni parete ha un portale 3 dei quali conducono a 3 camere completamente foderate di fogli di alluminio lucido, tranne la parete frontale opposta all’ingresso sulla cui superficie viene proiettata rispettivamente una scena diversa; 1) quella a sinistra “ante” rappresenta la porta del passato e mostra l’immagine del soggetto mentre entrava esternamente dalla porta (ripreso da una cam sincronizzata da un sensore che ritarda la proiezione). 2) la camera al centro “nunc” è quella del presente e mostra non specularmente la scena ripresa di fronte alla porta all’interno della camera. 3) la terza a destra è quella del futuro “post” e riprende la scena all’esterno del portale verso il cortile e il soggetto sarà visibile solo quando uscirà. La scelta dell’ingresso determina la posizione temporale psicologica del soggetto (passato/presente/futuro) secondo il metodo utilizzato nei templi Hindu per diagnosticare tale atteggiamento. Le istruzioni e la descrizione della funzionalità saranno omesse in fase di utilizzo per motivi di non interferenza con la comprensione individuale dell’opera, all’uscita allo spettatore sarà presentata un’unica domanda: “Qual’era il nome della camera che hai visitato per prima?” Progetto di Marg8 AudioVisualArt
